MOTODECK

Privacy policy.

The app

MotoDeck does not collect, store or transmit personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.

Your garage, your documents and your settings live on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, under your Apple Account. Your devices talk to your phone directly. Nothing passes through a server of ours.

The catalog of bikes is public reference data, fetched from Apple's iCloud public database. Fetching it reveals nothing about you to us.

This website

motodeck.app sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. The server keeps no log of visitors that we read.

The feedback page

On motodeck.app/feedback you sign in through Internet Identity, a passwordless sign-in service run by the DFINITY Foundation. MotoDeck receives an anonymous identifier made for this site alone, never your Apple or Google account.

What you type there is stored with that identifier: the name you give, the head unit, the feedback itself, and a way to reach you if you choose to leave one. It is used for one thing: to read your feedback and answer you. You can edit or remove your entry on the same page at any time, signed in with the same account.

The entries are stored on the Internet Computer, a public network. They are not published and are readable only by the owner of this site.

The support page

On motodeck.app/support you sign in the same way, with the same anonymous identifier. A ticket stores the name you give, the subject, what you wrote, your head unit and app version if you gave them, and a way to reach you if you chose to leave one, together with the replies. It is used for one thing: to answer you. You can close or remove a ticket on the same page at any time.

Tickets are stored on the Internet Computer like the entries, not published, and readable only by the owner of this site.
